NJ Man Dies 2 Weeks After Lehigh County Crash

A 60-year-old New Jersey man has died two weeks after being injured in a car accident in Lehigh County, PA, according to news reports.

The driver has been identified as Virgil Harrison of Avenel, Middlesex County, by the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. He died at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Salisbury Township at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, NJ.com reports.

Harrison died as a result of complications from multiple blunt force injuries, and his death was ruled accidental, the outlet says citing the county coroner's office.

Harrison collided with another car near Mill Creek Road along the Route 222 North bypass in Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County, shortly after 10:30 a.m. on March 22, the news outlet says citing authorities. 

His death is under investigation by Upper Macungie Township Police Department and the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.
